How much of the payout should a personal injury attorney get?

I had a car accident and my lawyer wants 33.3% of what the insurance company gives and she says that is how much she is supposed to be getting. Isn't that a liitle bit too much? I thought the limit was 30%.

1/3 is what nearly all attorneys charge. However, the fee is whatever you agreed to. And your fee agreement should be in the retainer agreement you signed when you hired your lawyer.
