Should I file an accident report if there were no damages or injuries?

I was involved in a car accident yesterday that was my fault. There were no injuries, but the other driver didn't want to deal with the police so he just asked for cash and no other information was exchanged. Should I still go to the police station and file an accident report even though there was no damage to the vehicle I was driving?

You are required to file an accident report if the damage is more than a particular threshold. You can find the threshold by looking at the DMV website.
